This blog started out as just another fitness & weight loss blog. But after a while, I realized that what is more important to me is eating locally grown food - veggies, eggs, meats (and if I can find it, milk.) So I'll be blogging about what I find and what I eat. I also like to do yoga and YogaDance and walk around so maybe I'll blog about those things too.
Why beets and butter and mountaintops? Well, I love beets. Not the greens, just the beets. And I love butter. It is necessary for a happy life. And getting back up to the tops of mountains is one of my goals. It could have been called "Coffee, Wine and 100 miles on my bike" or "Brown Rice, Dad's Homemade Ice Cream, and a 3 mile swim" but it isn't.
